Youth Dance England’s Director, Linda Jasper, and Veronica Jobbins, Co-Chair of Programme Board: Children and Young People’s Dance, have worked with the Department for Education to ensure that schools have information on how to access high quality dance.
See the new dance sections on The Coaching in Primary Schools’ portal. Through the portal, schools can now get advice on where to find a dance artist/practitioner to work with pupils and/or teachers and also information on how to identify high quality dance teaching. This information will help schools deliver programmes funded through the PE & Sport Premium as well as being useful to any school or organisation that wants to develop dance in and beyond the curriculum.
Resource material and ideas for dance lessons. News, reviews and features. Up to date information on the latest developments in dance education. A forum for interests and opinions. Advice on best practice.
Have a question about dance in education, not sure who to ask? Working in a school and need support? The NDTA helps our members by disseminating information and advice, as well as links to other dance organisations.
Access to high quality professional CPD & training opportunities and other events. Annual conference providing a day of stimulating professional development to support and inspire dance teachers and dance artists at all levels.
