ISA scheme put on hold

You might be aware of recent news about the coalition government's decision to review and re-model the criminal records and vetting and barring regime. The first phase of ISA registration was due to commence on 26 July 2010. However, due to the review of the scheme, no one can register with the ISA until further notice from the government.
Although the registration element of the scheme is halted during this review, the new safeguarding regulations introduced in October 2009 continue to apply.
